People of the world,
It is time to band together in an attempt to halt the spread of the coronavirus. The simple act of washing our hands with warm water and soap for 20 seconds regularly can make an incredible difference. But if you don't have access to soapy water, a hand sanitiser will become your best friend.
Below is a home recipe to keep you and your family fighting fit!
Recipe in a 100ml bottle
Fill the bottle with about 2/3 of Isopropyl Alcohol.
Now add a total of 40 drops of Essential Oils. Good essential oils to choose from would include Tea Tree / Tea Tree Lemon Scented (the best), Lavender French, Peppermint Arvensis and Lemon Cold Pressed. Alternatively, you could use our favourite blend, Four Thieves.
Now fill the rest of the bottle up with Aloe Vera Gel.
Please put on your cap, shake the bottle and there you have it, a homemade hand sanitiser.
By using 2/3 of Isopropyl Alcohol you are guaranteeing that the alcohol content of the sanitiser is above 60%.
CORONAVIRUS DISCLAIMER: This hand sanitiser is not a substitute for proper handwashing. And while this home remedy contains commonly-accepted natural antiviral ingredients, it has never been tested in a lab to determine it's efficacy against viruses such as the coronavirus. Albeit, this hand sanitiser does include the 60%+ alcohol content that the CDC and other health organisations recommend for hand sanitiser to kill coronavirus properly.
